Blade: The blade of this sword is hand forged and polished with 12 procedures.The steel we use is not the normal steel with the truck or cars or other life electrics,the steel use for the blade contents much more carbon and the purity can not be comparable.
This is the folded steel blade which has been folded 11 times, to created 2048 layers. The best known part of the manufacturing process is the folding of the steel, where the swords are made by repeatedly heating, hammering and folding the metal. That controls the carbon of the steel in a suitable range.
TSUBA(plate): Alloy Dragon; the tsuba is used to protect your hand from sliding onto the blade during thrusts.
HABAKI(blade collar): is a one piece brass construction. The main point of the habaki is to make the saya tight to the blade,so it is normal if there is scratch on.
SEPPAS(spacer): Two Seppas secure the Tsuba( if the tsuba is not so tight after a long time,you can disassemble the sword and put more seppas there.
MENUKI: Alloy; there are 2 menuki ornamented on the handle,one on each side.
HANDLE: wide on the 2 ends,thin in the middle; hardwood wrapped with genuine rayskin(samegawa), synthetic silk ito,ornamented with menuki(one on each side), Fuchi&Kashira on the two ends of the handle.
SAGEO: used to tie the sword on your waist as a belt in the old time,but now we usually tie on the saya as shown on the pictures.
SAYA(scabbard): The saya (sheath) of the sword is made of hardwood, tied with Sageo on the Kurigaga (knob) of the scabbard.

All our goods are carefully inspected and firmly wrapped before shipping. If you received a damaged or faulty item not as described, please contact us with photos in 14 days of receipt of goods. We do offer free exchange or full refund, plus return postage in some cases. Any other returning items such as accidental or wrong orders, intentional refusal at delivery etc are shipped at buyer's cost and must be in original conditions. Otherwise we might offer partial refund by charging restocking or refurbishing fees. As our parcels are heavy and large in size, any return could be a big loss for both of us. Please be decisive when you place an order. We appreciate your prompt payment. Late payment may run into out-of-stock or cancellation of your order.
Buyers from Brazil and Mexico are mandatory to provide us with your tax ID (e.g. CPF number) for customs clearance. Buyers from India need to provide to customs with your KYC (Know Your Customs) documents, or government recoginzed indentity, address proof and Authorization letter. Buyers from Russia Federation should provide us with your company name, address and phone for safe and smooth clearance. Sometimes police permit is needed to purchase swords for some countries. We will notify you of whether the item is allowed to enter your country since some countries classify swords as dangerous weapon. If not, we will cancel and refund your order paid.
The duty rate for swords in European countries is higher. We are NOT responsible for brokerage, customs duty, other import fees, loss, damage or serious delay caused by failure of clearance due to incomplete documents or miss of delivery due to your absence or incorrect address.
Weapons and Maintenance
Our swords are handmade, non-sharpened and false-edged replicas. All the military models are miniatures made of metal, plastic or wood. They are used for collection, decoration, props and activities like animation, costume play and martial arts. For safety purpose, we do not sell functional or real battle-ready weapons.
All metal swords require responsible use, care, and maintenance. Your sword should always be covered with a light coating of oil to prevent rust on the blade. Common oil could be a mixture of sewing machine oil and vaccine. Please periodically check if the hanging sword and screws are getting loose on the wall mount.
